Christopher Howard is the founder and owner of C. Howard Fitness, a Pittsburgh-based personal training and wellness studio dedicated to empowering individuals to live healthier, stronger, and more fulfilled lives. With a focus on functional fitness, holistic wellness, and long-term vitality, Christopher specializes in coaching adults ages 40 and older through his signature program, C. At C. Howard Fitness, I work with busy professionals, active older adults, and individuals recovering from health setbacks who want to reclaim or maintain their strength, mobility, metabolic health, and independence. My signature program, Thrive at 40+, is a high-impact fitness and lifestyle coaching system designed specifically for clients in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond. It combines strength training, mobility work, nutritional guidance, and habit coaching – all delivered in a hybrid-virtual/in-person model to meet you wherever you are.

As an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist, I bring expertise and compassionate coaching needed to support clients with diverse health challenges and health goals – including weight management, pre- and post-rehab training, cardiac wellness, and age-related fitness strategies.

In addition to my private training practice, I serve as the founder and executive director of the Community Wellness Initiative of Pittsburgh, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing health disparities in underserved communities. Through this initiative, we provide hands on mentorship and career development for minorities and aspiring fitness professionals, while leading accessible programs focused on movement, nutrition, and overall wellness.

Whether I’m training a client one-on-one, leading a community workshop, or building curriculum for health education, I believe in one guiding principle: exhausting every one of my God-given gifts in the service of others. I’m committed to using my faith, experience, and knowledge to create thriving lives and thriving communities one person at a time.
